Artist Statement

I have always been motivated by the opinion that art is worth its full value without it addressing any political or social constructs. I find it appealing and fulfilling to produce and view art as objects of beauty and self expression without any undertones. To explain further, drips of paint, splatters and thick globs coming together to form cohesion appeals to me. I love to overemphasize light and employ the use of impasto to create heightened drama . I also tend to move towards individual rather than political themes. I execute my works with traditional art media , methods and materials.

Conclusively, I strive to create beautiful pieces and this is very core to my artistic journey and practice.  The audience remain at liberty to find deeper meanings in my pieces as it resonates with them.
